North Harbor modernization begins

This, after a group of port users expressed their opposition for the proposed scheme being presented by the Philippine Ports authority (PPA).
According to the Coalition for Port Modernization (CPM), the revised modernization plan presented recently by PPA will create a monopoly for modality of cargo handling like ro-ro (roll-on roll-off), lo-lo (lift-on lift-off) and breakbulk operations.
